Sweetwater Surf Shop Rebrand
2024
A graphic design project focused on rebranding a local business in Wilmington, NC. I chose to rebrand Sweetwater Surf Shop, a family-owned surf shop that has been an iconic part of Wrightsville Beach since the 1970s. The shop was in need of a fresh and consistent visual identity. My redesign emphasizes a sleek, modern aesthetic while honoring the shop’s vintage charm and longstanding legacy. The updated branding reflects themes of fun, adventure, and relaxed ocean vibes.
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Sweetwater Surf Shop. This is a school project and not an official rebranding effort for the company.

Lululemon Mock Ad Campaign
2018
A SCAD project in which students selected a brand, researched its identity and marketing strategies, and developed their own mock advertisements. All concepts and research for this project were created by me.
Lululemon is known for its playful and witty advertising, often using humorous taglines like “Say no to cameltoe” to highlight the intentional design and comfort of its leggings. Inspired by this clever approach and considering the brand’s target audience, especially within the yoga community, I developed the slogans “Livin’ La Vida Yoga” and “Yogi Strong.” My goal was to stay true to Lululemon’s brand identity while also embracing the relaxed, beachside yoga lifestyle.
For this project, I collaborated with photographer Cody Reppert and model Cary McCool to bring the vision to life. I selected Tybee Island as the shoot location, aligning with the coastal, wellness-driven aesthetic of the campaign. After selecting the final images, I designed the advertisements in Photoshop and applied them to mockups. Please view the process book below for a full breakdown of my research, concept development, and final execution.

Personal Brand Identity:
Fashion Marketing
2017
This project was an exploration of my personal brand identity as a Fashion Marketing student at SCAD. Although I no longer attend SCAD, I truly enjoyed this project and believe it highlights my versatility as a graphic designer.
The focus was on developing a cohesive brand identity, incorporating my original Fashion Marketing logo, business cards, email signatures, and other branded materials. I worked with a unified visual language and color palette to ensure consistency across all elements.
This project was created using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

BUSINESS CARD, LOGO, SIGNATURE & LETTERHEAD DESIGN:

Personal Logo Design
2023
This is an original logo design created for a graphic design class. You may notice this logo featured on some of my earlier projects. If you’d like to explore my updated logo designs and personal stationery, please visit the Personal Brand Identity page.

Album Design
2023
For this project, we were tasked with creating a mock album cover inspired by a specific song from an album. I chose Currents by Tame Impala and based my design on the song Let It Happen, which explores themes of radical acceptance.
Tame Impala’s visuals are often described as psychedelic, abstract, and technological, so I embraced these elements in my design. The artwork depicts an astronaut falling into a black hole, symbolizing the inevitability of life’s uncertainties. This visual serves as a metaphor for surrendering to the unknown, accepting what we cannot control, and ultimately, letting it happen.
Created in Photoshop & Illustrator.

Movie Poster Design
2023
For this project, we were tasked with designing a movie poster for an existing film, drawing inspiration from a specific scene, theme, or hidden detail. I chose one of my favorite childhood animated films, My Neighbor Totoro.
After rewatching the film, I was deeply moved by the scene where the main characters magically grow a tree in their backyard. This moment beautifully captures the film’s themes of magic, wonder, and nostalgia, evoking the same warmth I felt when watching it as a child. I wanted my design to reflect that sense of enchantment and innocence.
Created in Illustrator.
